How to Grow
Position
Full sun or part shade
How
Sow in pots or trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix or sow direct into garden position. Press seed in and barely cover. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant or thin when big enough to be handled.
Care
Best grown in full sun to semi-shade. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food at regular intervals. Keep well watered. Remove flowering stems to encourage leafy growth. Grows well in pots. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Hint
Great companion plant for beans, onions, tomatoes and roses. Also considered nature's own breath sweetener - sprigs of parsley eaten fresh will mask even garlic. Water at base of plant to reduce risk of disease.
